Assignment 6, Part 2: NY Giants 3rd Downs

As a NY Giants fan, I’m accustomed to seasons of alternating depression and jubilation. Much of this comes down to the team’s perennial ability (or inability) to convert on third downs. So, I decided to illustrate their success in a graph.
So, as the graph shows, the percentages aren’t terrible. For an NFL team, especially one in the NFC East, perennially one of the toughest divisions (although it doesn’t look that way this year) the number of converted attempts needs to be higher.
Hopefully they iron out the problems before Sunday’s game against the Texans.
