Part 2
For part 2, I decided to look at the average game attendance for my favorite soccer team, the New York Red Bulls, and how its attendance compares to the average attendance for the rest of Major League Soccer. The line chart shows that the Red Bulls had about the same or higher attendance than the league average in every season except 2009. What happened in 2009? That was the worst year in franchise history. The Red Bulls won only five games all season and averaged less than a goal a game, which probably explains the drop in attendance.
