Twitter Accounts Censored across World

In 2017, at least five countries requested that several hundred twitter accounts be taken down, or withheld from within their country. In Germany, France and the United Kingdom, this request appears to have been made because of anti-hate speech legislation, while requests by the state in other countries such as Turkey and India, appear to be politically motivated. The dataset for this project was compiled by Buzzfeed, with links at the bottom of the post.
